Since October 2011, Martin Stopczynski has been working as a PhD student in the SIT Research Group of Prof. Dr. Michael Waidner at the Department of Computer Science of the Technische Universität Darmstadt.
Before joining the research group, he was working as a student assisten in the
SecUSo Research Group at CASED supporting among others the project 'Usability Analysis and Interface Improvement of the E2E Verifiable Helios Internet Voting System' supervised by
Dr. Melanie Volkamer. In this position he also assisted the group of
Prof. Thorsten Strufe in evaluating a
user-friendly privacy interface for the online social network Facebook.
Martin Stopczynski obtained his Bachelor in Computer Science from the Technische Universität Darmstadt in 2009; the topic of his thesis was “
Advanced User Interface Management to Interact with Secure Connections in Browsers”.
He graduated from the Technische Universität Darmstadt with a Master's degree in Computer Science in 2011. The topic of his thesis was “Analysis and Design of new Scenarios for Protecting Websites”, supervised by Dr. Melanie Volkamer.
